The Christmas holiday! Am I the only one in tears, stressed out and totally exhausted?

The holiday season is supposed to joyous, but I suppose it’s never meant to be relaxing? In fact, why does it feel more like work (and very difficult work at that) and I feel even lonelier and more helpless than ever? Am I the only one who suffers from anxiety, exhaustion, and an emotional breakdown due to preparation for, and anticipation of, the travel, family gathering, and especially the gift exchange on Christmas day morning?

No your not everyone goes through it..Just a phrase we go through and then it goes away. Just breath in and out slowly and take it one day at a time. you have two days left so sit down and check on list what is left to do. If everything is in place thenyour all set..Trust me it will all be perfect when everyone is surrounding you.

You are probably among thousands of people, especially two days away from Christmas! Unforunately, a holiday that is a time of peace, generosity, and cheerfulness among families has turned into a race for presents and a competition. This kind of neglects the meaning behind Christmas, doesn’t it? My family goes through what you are going through, but I think there is no reason for it. If you are feeling stressed or anxious, you are doing too much. That’s all there is to it, in my opinion. If Christmas isn’t joyous, you are doing something wrong.

Nope, you’re not alone. And yet, you look back on past Christmases and realize how great each one was. But yes, there is a lot of stress, especially if you have a large family. Maybe try shopping earlier or online for presents? And maybe have everyone who’s coming to Christmas dinner make something so you won’t have to cook it all.

You are certainly not the only one. Luckily I don’t feel this way but you are totally not alone. Christmas is the most stressful time of year for many people. i implore you to lock yourself away in a room for just five minutes right now and forget about the looming and present stress and take time to remember how great Christmas can be. Think about your childhood opening presents and the good selfless things that people do at this time of year. Read the bits of the Bible where Jesus is born as a reminder if you are that way inclined and just take time to have a few deep breaths and focus on you. Next year leave it in somebody else’s hands! It will all work out. Merry Christmas to you, I hope you have a splendid day =)

Christmas time has the highest rate of ******* over all times of the year. you are not the only one. Let things go if you are not enjoying it, don’t worry about if it gets done. Christmas should be about love and joy. Do whatever you have to do to make yourself feel that way. I finally have learned this after years of stress. And you no what? no one cares, and I am way happier ;) merry christmas. have some egg nog and chill
